Intel has discontinued its Blockscale 100 ASIC crypto-mining chip less than a year after it was launched, as per a report. Intel has also not announced a successor to this chip. However, the company didn't say if it's exiting the Bitcoin ASIC business, mentioning it will keep "monitoring market opportunities."
